Lunchtime: Slow work with a sword, various combinations.
Evening: Re-enactment training. Fought with just a jack, maille shirt, helmet and gauntlets. I did not wear a belt in order to make the maille shirt harder work.
I trained someone in how to fight against a spear, then fought against some of the other experienced fighters before running the group combat. Had fun, got tired.
Training priority for combat sport is SKILL, CONDITIONING, STRENGTH.
