Happy with that considering the problems I've had with my knee. I had hoped to get 3 reps the way things were going before the injury, but I have to be happy with 2 reps at my PB weight. I might do some strongman stuff tomorrow as I'm taking all next week off, I'll only be doing the rehab stuff I've been doing for my knee as it's been working really well and a rest will do me good.

Great session. Nice to hit the 227.5 deadlift PB, I've not tried a 1RM in ages so it was good to see were I'm at. Shame about the failed log but I was pretty beat from the deadlift and strict log PR's.

Cheers matey. It felt great to pull 227.5kg/500lb, only 12.5kg from a 3xBW now. Sometimes I need lifts like this to remind myself how good 5/3/1 is and that I don't need to be ego lifting to get stronger.


Matey, 3xBW is pretty sick lift. I think it is just about time and consistency and you will get there in near future.
My goal is to lift 200kg in 2012. Bodyweigth being 75-77kg. Ego lifting or not it is going to happen one way or another.

Good session. 8 reps is my best at that weight. And I beat what I got last time on the log my 1 rep. Dips were down but they always are if I have a week off them which is strange to lose strength on them that fast.

Quick session. I'd told a mate he could come and train tonight at 7 and I fell asleep after work when I should of been training, so I had to quickly get the deadlifts done after he was done, I might do the squats tomorrow after work. Just did the required reps as usual, I really do dislike any reps over 1 on deadlift.

Not a very good one today. Had to train straight after work (as I'd said I'd train with a mate and he had to be done by 7:30) which is never good for me on upper body days. Everything felt heavy, but it's only 1 rep short of being a good day really. Matched what I got last time on incline.
