If only it was just as easy to place a bet after the fact.

EDIT: Brazen, jones jr. is a bit of a stretch, ain't it. :mozilla_wink:
But being 1, 94 I have an idea it's not easy to move that fast as a big guy. For a man over 2,00 his movement was extraordinary. Remember Valuev?

I thought the fight would be close, but favoured Wlad. Hours before the fight The odds on a Fury W were 7/2. I told my brother to place a bet. He didn't listen. 1 man who did place a bet was Curtis Woodhouse. He won £72,000:

Faust, I raised the Jones Jr comparison because the great man raised it himself during HBO commentary. I think he was referring to Tyson holding his hands behind his back and his chin up though. I also noticed Fury ducked underneath Wlads double jab ala, Jones Jr too.

Unlike Jones Jr, Fury wasn't fast enough to switch his feet throw a right hand counter. But yeah you're right. I never seen a man Fury's size move so well in a Boxing ring. Can't wait to see how Fury performs in the rematch.

Is it confirmed that Fury is stripped of his IBF belt?

How the fight developed, I think Fury was fighting the wrong Klitschko.

Wladimir didn't have the size and reach advantage against Fury. He was also too afraid to throw combinations and the right hand. At least Vitali could have gone to war and brawled Fury. Too bad he is too old.

Yeah, it's ridiculous isn't it? Word is Glazkov and Charles Martin will duke it out for this trinket. If you've been following the news recently, Tyson Fury's made controversial remarks on homosexuality and women. My guess is those statements didn't help.

Hrungnir, I agree. Vitali would have made a fight of this. Wladimir's so risk averse his options were limited. He only upped his game in the last round. I think the rematch will be much the same, albeit bloodier.

For those of you who missed it, this was arguably the best HW match of the year:

Anthony Joshua is the best prospect in HW Boxing since those 90's kings. My bet is the HW titles will be passed between Hughie, Tyson and Joshua over the next decade. The Heavyweight division is alive again.

I'll add this story to the HW thread.

Erkan Tepper Fails Drug Test Following David Price Bout

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing ... paign=1490

In 2013, David Price was among the leading prospects in the HW Division. The Olympic Silver Medalist led Wilder & Fury on his march to a HW Title Shot. Following losses to Tony Thompson and Erkan Tepper, Price's career was all but finished.

Since then Tepper and Thompson have failed drug tests. Price's career is in tatters and the rampant use of PED's in Boxing has been brought to the fore again. I hope Price returns to the ring with a vengeance and Tepper is given a lengthy ban.
