Muscle up tips?

Hi all,

Its been a while! I am looking to incorporate muscle up progressions as assistance alongside my core Wendler 5-3-1 routine, any tips?

I have watched a few YT vids and had a play around on the gym bar last night, any pointers appreciated.

Dug out my copy of II and NG but theres not a great deal on progressions in there.

I may even chuck up my workout log on here too...

Hey man, I may not be of much help because I haven't achieved that yet, but there are some quality content on the bodyweight fitness subreddit

Pulling up under the bar = wrong
vs
Pulling up behind the bar = right

did the trick for me

What helped me was adding an explosive day a la never gymless, along with a weighted day were I go heavy. Working in false grip was the final tweak that lead to my first muscle up. All this is in never gymless, good luck! :mozilla_cool:
