RT Christmas/New Year 30 Minute Challenge

Postby Yellow-Jumpsuit » Mon Dec 20, 2010 7:46 am

As a celebration of the end of this year and the beginning of a new, as well as something to exchange for that massive Christmas dinner--I bring the Rosstraining Christmas/New Year 30 Minute Challenge.

It's simple, anyone can do it. There are 50 exercises/drills listed below. Pick one and some reserves and PM me or reply to this thread . If you got it in time, that is your chosen exercise. Your task, on the 31st December, you will perform this exercise for 30 minutes, nonstop. Rest as needed but not essential. For weighted moves you can decrease the weight over time or be badass and try and keep it the same. If your exercise is already taken then one of your reserves will be sent to you. Your name will apear beside your task once you have it. Record your reps and weights and post them in the New Year.

Who is up for the challenge?

I got hill sprints. As long as it's not TOO icy out, if it is I generated sandbag shoulders as an alternative.

No.46 burpee + pull-up my favourite cause they hurt so so bad :P !

Pull ups

My numbers wont be impressive to most, but I'll hopefully impress the hell out of myself.

Sounds like fun...

I'll take One-Legged Squats(no. 25), if its not already taken. Am I allowed to switch legs throughout the 30 mins, or do I have to use the same leg the whole time?
My goals
1)One arm pullup
2)Stand to stand bridge
3)50 consecutive single leg squats

Swing it however you want. To failure on right, then left then back to right etc OR, 10 left, 10 right etc OR 1 rep each alternating.
